Term Two - Camp and Science Fair!!

Well Term Two starts off with our CAMP AT BERWICK!!! I hope everybody has been busy preparing and organising all their gear for camp.
A few key things...
* camp items for the concert sorted and don't forget your music and if someone has an ipod with lots of current dance music bring it along.
* looking forward to all that yummy camp baking!! Keep this out of your bags and place in the boxes by the hall on Monday morning.
* Don't forget your secret friend gift wrapped and labelled!!
* The weather looks great for the start of the week so make sure you have a sunhat and sunblock too.
* Dont forget your lunch on day one!!

Finally, I have had to change the bunkrooms so the dads have a place to sleep. We cannot use the new area so it is tight but now ALL THE GIRLS ARE TOGETHER IN THE LIONS DEN AND THE BOYS ARE SPLIT INTO TWO BUNKROOMS GIVING THE DADS A BUNKROOM WITH ENOUGH BEDS FOR THEM ALL!!!

This term is also Science and Technology Fair!! So you must start thinking about ideas for this and we will get straight into this Week Two.

I hope eveveyone is well rested and ready for a great time at camp. See you all Monday!!!

Term 4 Week 2

Dear Parents/Caregivers

We are all looking forward to our Year 8 Open Night, where you can come along and view both your child’s classroom and the work they have completed this term.  Completing an independent research project (ASPIRE) has been the major focus of Term 3 and this evening will be a fabulous showcase of the projects undertaken.  The Year 8 Open Night is on Thursday the 6th October beginning at 7:00pm in the hall.  At 7:15 you will depart to view your child’s classroom projects.

Room 23 looks forward to sharing their work with you.

Enrolments have closed.

Balmacewen has had higher than expected enrolments for 2012. A ballot for out of zone enrolments will now take place to ensure we don't have over crowding. The details and important dates can be found in the letter that has been sent home. (Monday 26th posted)
